Abide In The Vine

Abide in the Vine,
The only source of Life.
Let His glory shine.
His Spirit gives us Life.
Abide in the Vine,
And let Him live within.
Let His glory shine.
He frees you from your sin.

With Christ in us we can do all things
With Christ in us we can be free.
Without Jesus we can d-o nothing.
Live in His presence constantly.

Life is the promise of the Father.
Life is the promise of the Son.
If it weren't for life we wouldn't bother.
And this life is here for everyone.

Stand in the presence of the Father.
Stand in the presence of the Son.
There's no holiness in any other.
Holiness is here for everyone.

You can't be holy without Jesus.
You need His presence every day.
You can have the holiness of Jesus.
Praise the Lord that Jesus made a way.

From Death To Life

From death to Life, from doubt to Faith,
From fear to Love, by mighty Grace,
Oh, people, move as I direct you into Light.
And never fear for I am here.
And, as you seek, I will draw near.
And, just ahead, you see the Kingdom shining bright.

It's given once for men to die,
So Christ has died to satisfy
The debt of sin and death that you could never pay.
The door of life is open wide.
Come in. Come in. Come and abide.
Take hold of Him, and pass from night into the day.

The Kingdom now is here for you.
The King is calling unto you.
Oh let the world fade away through His free grace.
Take hold of Life in Christ the Lord.
Rise up in Him. He is the Word.
Keep walking in; behold the glory of His Face.

Knowing The Terror Of The Lord

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to have faith in Jesus, that is to be born again.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to confess their faith in Jesus to confess it before men.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to renounce all works of evil, to repent of all their sin.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to be baptized under water
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to be baptized in the Spirit, filled and flowing out
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to keep walking in the Spirit, ever led to follow Him.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to receive the local elders and the local deacons.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to receive God's true apostles, God gave to the church again.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to receive gifts of the Spirit given by laying on of hands.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to exercise all gifts and offices in the order
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
to let love flow and all God's fruit grow as a holy gift for Him.
Alleluia! Give Your boldness unto me.
Alleluia! Let your light shine out through me.

Oh, Let The Love Of God

Oh, let the love of God
be shed abroad
in your hearts by the Holy Ghost.
Love one another,
for love is the key,
To enter the Kingdom of God.
Behold! How good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell in unity,
For there the Lord commands His blessing,
Even life forevermore.

Released From Captivity

Our God, in Christ, released us from captivity,
From slavery to sin, He sets the captive free.
The Lord sheds His own light upon all human hearts;
For those who won't respond, God's radiance soon departs

So many like to claim an inner righteousness,
But God has told us all, there's nothing good in us.
The human flesh, that strong, deceptive, wicked force,
That whitewashed human heart still charts an evil course.

The human flesh is caught in slavery to sin.
It cannot free itself, nor break the trap it's in.
But only through the Christ, there is no other way,
So only through the Christ, our night is turned to day.

The flesh is so corrupt, it cannot be reformed,
But yielding to Christ, a miracle performs.
Yet those who will not yield, with great hypocrisy,
Not knowing that they're lost, remain in slavery.

All those who yield their wills and listen to God's voice,
Are led of God in love in ever deepening choice.
Our God, in Christ, released us from captivity,
From slavery to sin, He sets the captive free.

Standing In The Presence Of The Lord

If there's any good that's done,
It is done through God the Son,
For His grace does work that sets the captive free,
But when we on self depend,
We get weary in the end,
And we learn it's God's great power that we need.

Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.

Many strive to justly live,
Try to love and try to give,
All depending on a power of their own,
But they find they sadly fail,
And the enemy prevails,
Till they turn to God for power from His Throne.

Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.

When we try to understand,
By the foolish mind of man,
All the mysteries that God has for His own,
Human minds cannot receive,
They confuse and they deceive,
But the Lord's great wisdom flows down from His Throne.

Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.

We can seek for earthly goals,
Or for heav'nly wealth untold,
Recognition, gold, and silver fade away.
All that's lasting in this life,
Starts and ends with Jesus Christ,
So I'll look to Christ for what I need today.

Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.

The Faith Of God

The faith of God.
God speaks.
You hear.

Through grace, God's free gift,
You believe.

Faith comes, a gift from God.
Faith is substance.
You receive.

By Faith, God's free gift,
You are justified,
You are sanctified.

By grace, God's free gift,
You obey.

God does His works through you.
Your living faith has works

You are built up.
You grow from faith to faith.
The faith of God.

The Hour Of Glory

The hour of glory is upon us,
His power revealed in the saints,
The hour when the saints will come to rule and reign,
Removing all fleshly constraints.

In Him we live and move,
And have our very being.
He abides in us and we in Him.

His glory is upon us.
His glory shines out from us,
The glory of the Only Holy One.

Glory, glory, glory,
The all surpassing glory,
The all surpassing glory of the Son.

Glory, glory, glory,
The all surpassing glory,
The all surpassing glory of the Son.

The Youth of This World--Well They Can

The youth of this world--well they can
Change the world, wait and see.
Doing the things that God said,
Living in reality.

The Christ shines forth in their temple, Causing their natures to be,

Loving and kind, honest with man,
The youth of this world THEY CAN!

There's Power For Holiness And Life In Grace

Amazing grace that sets me free,
Abounding more and more;
The Spirit ever leadeth me;
The Lord is every door.

There?s power for holiness and life in grace.
The Spirit leads with power to keep pace.
His mighty grace now lives within;
All sin it will displace.
There?s power for holiness and life in grace.

Through grace I have been born again,
By grace the Temple grows
Until the wondrous morning when
His fullness overflows.

Amazing grace that has restored
The five-fold ministry,
Foundation of Thy Body, Lord,
Which grows in unity

Each stone must now be set in place,
According to His will
So holy power, life, and grace
Will all His Temple fill.

This Is The Anointing Of Being

At any moment, we can link ourselves
To the power of that infinite One.
He, Who orders everything,
He, Who is the King of kings,
He, Who forms and molds,
He, Who sets and holds
The order of all that exists,
He, by Whom all things consist,
The One Who holds all things in His control.

Wisdom is the practice of talking to this One in prayer,
And of listening and hearing and of moving with Him there,
Standing in His presence, struck with holy awe,
Knowing there is nothing else that can, in heaven or earth, compare.

This is the anointing of being.
The anointing of becoming is so near.
This is the Kingdom of God we are seeing.
The Kingdom of God is here.

A righteousness built on love's Light.
Rather than weakness and fear.
Springing from God's own great might.
The Kingdom of God is here.

Would You Let This Guy Live In Your House?

When we come home so very tired, we sit down with our friend.
We know he will not make us think although he may offend.
We've taken him into our house; he lives with us you see.
We put him on a pedestal, part of the family.

My friend and I, we disagree; he is a humanist,
And every time he speaks the truth, he gives the truth a twist.
But yet I let him stay with us and let him speak his mind,
For he is entertaining and he helps us to unwind.

And even though we're Christians and we want to walk in light;
Our friend keeps preaching darkness, saying things that are not right.
He is religious, in a way, with rules for wrong and right,
Which mostly undermine our faith, exchanging dark for light.

He mixes good in with the bad, so we are led along,
A mix of fact and lie so the conclusions are all wrong.
It's true, our friend is vulgar but he's entertaining too.
He's trying to convince us of some things that are not true.

Our friend is not the one to blame, for others pull the strings.
He really cannot help it that they make him do these things.
A wicked group controls our friend, part of an evil plot
Whose main intent is to control us, and they have, somewhat.

And somehow, as we listen there to stories that he tells,
We're hypnotized, yes, mesmerized with many crafty spells.
And once he has us hypnotized, he feeds us with some thought,
Which we receive quite readily for in his trap we're caught.

And many times I could have made him go but haven't yet,
For with his entertaining ways he holds me in his net.
Perhaps we are addicted to amusement from our friend.
Perhaps we're hooked so well we cannot bring it to an end.

We keep him on a pedestal, part of the family,
And listen to his subtle lies, our friend, the enemy.
We keep him on a pedestal, part of the family,
And listen to his subtle lies, our old friend the TV.

What would happen if you made this your rule: Every time you see violence, immorality or anything that is against God (that which doesn't build you up as a Christian), you turn off your TV for two hours. How much TV would you watch? You might even have a family conversation again.
Romans 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

You Work So Very Hard

You work so very hard.
Your efforts are in vain.
No matter how you struggle,
You won't remove the stain.
Of this, you must partake,
The flesh and blood of Christ,
To free you from your bondage,
None other paid the price.

You're On The Brink

You're on the Brink, so just stand still.
You have not failed; You're in My will;
This is the Day, when the chosen shall go free.
You're on the brink, be not afraid,
You shall walk in the plan I've made,
So just stand tall, give me your all,
And live in Me.

To be swallowed up in victory,
All of my death, that's my destiny,
So that the second death has no power over me.
Appointed unto, me once to die,
Now judgement's begun from Him on high,
A witness I'll be, Life entering me,
No more dead in the street.
