About Sin
Sin
It takes you farther than you ever wanted to go.
It makes you stay longer than you wanted to stay.
It costs you more that you ever thought it would cost.
Calling
I kneeled in the presence of Jesus.
As I sought His sweet, holy will,
He spoke to my heart in His presence.
He spoke to me, "Peace, now be still."
He spoke to me there of my calling,
A calling to His holiness.
I knew that this point was a turning.
If I choose His Life, He will bless.
He spoke by His holy anointing,
He spoke during my quiet time.
He spoke through my brothers and sisters
In prophecy flowing sublime.
He said, "I can make you a victor,
As one who can overcome sin."
He said, "By my blood, I have done it,
And opened the door, so walk in."
In all of the things where I've struggled,
Where often my heart suffered loss,
He let me know He has the power
To overcome these by the cross.
He called me as His overcomer,
If I would just walk in His way.
His way is the way to His power.
If I would walk in it today.
Temptation has buffeted sorely.
He showed me that I'm not alone.
That everyone struggles with weakness,
That all need His life from His throne.
With every temptation we suffer,
We have a full measure of grace,
So we may escape and walk holy,
So we may, through Him, take our place.
If I would but judge myself surely,
I need not be judged later on.
And Jesus showed me that this judgment
Is not my self-condemnation.
The judgment of which Jesus told me,
Is simply to yield unto Him.
To realize my strength is nothing,
That He is the source of all strength.
I asked Him, "Lord, how can I do this?
And walk in Your ways from above?"
He said, "You must yield to my Spirit."
You need to be filled with my love."
I asked Him, "Lord, how can I yield?
How can I know this mystery?"
He said to me, "Here, let me show you."
His love filled my being suddenly.
I gloried there, long, in His presence.
I felt His great love surging through.
His love filled my being completely,
His power from my head to toe.
I found, in the presence of Jesus,
That angers had melted away,
That fears and my bitterness left me.
That night had been turned into day.
And simply receiving His essence,
Had caused such a change in my soul.
What moments before had been lacking,
Was filled with His love and made whole.
Then, later, His presence had left me,
And somehow, I could not remain.
I couldn't remain in His presence.
His glory, I couldn't sustain.
I sought Him to know why this happened,
And why I could not keep His glow.
He showed me the Day that is coming
When I will His full glory know.
And till that great Day has come on us.
We're called to come in, day by day,
By seeking to stand in His presence,
By seeking to walk in the Way.
And so, I then knew that He means it,
And though it takes my breath away,
I'm called to be an overcomer.
But then He had much more to say:
"I have, for you, a higher calling,
That you, a deliverer be.
What I overcome in your being,
I'll then use to set others free."
I asked Him, "Lord, how can this happen?
To deliver those, the oppressed?"
To set captives free by Your power,
To cause the accursed to be blessed.
How can I work with You to free them
To walk in Your ways from above?"
We're called to come in day by day.
By seeking to stand in His presence,
By seeking to walk in the Way.
Now Lord, each moment, remind me,
And cause that I might seek Your face,
To always remain in Your presence,
In everything, filled with Your grace.

From Death To Life
From death to Life, from doubt to Faith,
From fear to Love, by mighty Grace,
Oh, people, move as I direct you into Light.
And never fear for I am here.
And, as you seek, I will draw near.
And, just ahead, you see the Kingdom shining bright.
It's given once for men to die,
So Christ has died to satisfy
The debt of sin and death that you could never pay.
The door of life is open wide.
Come in. Come in. Come and abide.
Take hold of Him, and pass from night into the day.
The Kingdom now is here for you.
The King is calling unto you.
Oh let the world fade away through His free grace.
Take hold of Life in Christ the Lord.
Rise up in Him. He is the Word.
Keep walking in; behold the glory of His Face.

His Righteous Trees
His righteous trees are planted by the water,
They shall bear fruit - not wither, but shall prosper.
His Trees of Life are healing for the nations,
They shall stand tall - they shall not fall,
These righteous trees!

Holiness
Holiness, completeness, the fullness of Jesus,
Into which God has called us if we walk in the Spirit
of the Lord, line on line and precept on precept,
Walking into the fullness of the glory of the Lord.
He is restoring a people who will serve Him, and
Who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth
A holy Temple, a Nation, a New Creation
A Body, He's fashioning, a Garden full of fruit.
Oh! Lord, I pray for the fullness of Your coming, walking
Closer and closer until we see You face to face,
And there in the Holy of Holies You'll redeem our bodies.
Then we'll truly know You and the fullness of Your grace.

It's You Lord Who Works Your Works In Me
The work You did for me on Calvary, (Col 1:29)
It is enough to fully guarantee,
That from sin, I'll wholly be set free.
It's You Lord Who works Your works in me.
You have conquered animosity, (Heb. 2:14)
When You bore my sins upon the tree.
You've forgiven each atrocity.
It's You Lord Who works Your works in me.
In thankfulness, if I try to re-pay, (Isaiah 64:6)
If I bring works like filthy rags to Thee,
This is no gift, but if I yield to Thee,
Then, it's You, Lord, Who works Your works in me.
Just as I am without one single plea, (Gal 3:3)
That's how I must come and submit to Thee,
And to your faith and hope and love so free,
Which is You, Lord, Who works Your works in me.
My own works could never set me free. (Titus 3:5)
Flesh of mine has no capacity,
To please You, God, or end captivity.
It's You Lord Who works Your works in me.
It's not based on my ability. (Heb. 12:12)
It isn't judged on much activity,
But each work that starts and ends with Thee.
Is You Lord Who works Your works in me.
Not my own faith, but that which flows from Thee, (Romans 3:3)
My own hope is dissatisfactory,
Not my own love. but Your own charity,
Is You Lord Who works Your works in me.
By Your Spirit You have set me free, (Romans 8:2)
From all sin so I can always be,
Pure and good and manifesting Thee,
It's You, Lord Who works Your works in me.
All that's good and perfect comes from Thee. (James 1:17)
You abide as light inside of me.
Take away my flesh so totally,
That it's You Lord Who works Your works in me.
Bring each thought into conformity. (Romans 12:2)
Bring each action into harmony.
Let your Spirit all my portion be,
Then You, Lord, will work Your works in me.
Just by yielding now, oh Lord, to Thee, (Matt. 5:48)
You will give me total victory.
No more sinning? Now, how can it be?
It's You Lord Who works Your works in me.

Liberty! What Is It?
Liberty! What is it? What does it imply?
Lose the chains that bind you. To them, you may die.
Live to Him Who frees you. This is liberty.
Live to Him Who gives life. This will set you free.
Freedom comes at last now. Free from what to what?
Do you have some burdens? Doors you'd like to shut?
There are just two choices, choosing one of two.
Every choice you're making sets your course for you.
All the world's divided. Some are free from God.
Some are free to serve Him, free from Satan's rod.
If you serve your own will, then you are its slave,
If you will receive Him, Christ is there to save.
Freedom from the Savior makes you slave to sin.
Freedom from your own flesh means you're serving Him.
Some are moving with God. Some move on their own.
Some have got a soft heart. Some have hearts of stone.
Those who truly love God live to seek His face,
Listen to Him speaking, walking in His grace.

Mercy and Truth
Mercy and Truth are met together,
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other,
And the Lord shall give - that which is good,
And He'll set us in the ways of His steps.
Truth shall spring out of the earth, and all men see
The righteousness of Him coming forth in you and me,
And the Lord shall give - that which is good
And He'll set us in the ways of His steps.

Neither Do I Condemn You; Go And Sin No More
Someone has slipped today,
Into some fleshly way,
They were off guard somehow.
In condemnation crying now.
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.
Those in the depths of sin,
Feeling condemned within,
They try to defend their lust,
But there is one whom they can trust.
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.
Churches in disarray,
Making up their own way,
Rapidly they decline,
With orders and precepts from their own mind.
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.
Some won't obey God's word,
Feeling so self-assured,
Letting the world hold sway;
Somehow they thought t'would be okay.
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.
Did you fail to seek His face,
Leaving that secret place?
From His presence did you stray?
Did you let His Spirit slip away?
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.
Did His Spirit urge you on
To levels and heights beyond?
But nay-sayers told you, "No!"
You listened to them and would not go.
Jesus is here today,
Hear Him forgive and say,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Lest a worse thing befall you,
Go and sin no more.

Oh, Let The Love Of God
Oh, let the love of God
be shed abroad
in your hearts by the Holy Ghost.
Love one another,
for love is the key,
To enter the Kingdom of God.
Behold! How good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell in unity,
For there the Lord commands His blessing,
Even life forevermore.

Put Your Compassion Here In My Heart
Put Your compassion, Lord, here in my heart.

Let true compassion fill my soul.

Standing In The Presence Of The Lord
If there's any good that's done,
It is done through God the Son,
For His grace does work that sets the captive free,
But when we on self depend,
We get weary in the end,
And we learn it's God's great power that we need.
Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.
Many strive to justly live,
Try to love and try to give,
All depending on a power of their own,
But they find they sadly fail,
And the enemy prevails,
Till they turn to God for power from His Throne.
Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.
When we try to understand,
By the foolish mind of man,
All the mysteries that God has for His own,
Human minds cannot receive,
They confuse and they deceive,
But the Lord's great wisdom flows down from His Throne.
Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.
We can seek for earthly goals,
Or for heav'nly wealth untold,
Recognition, gold, and silver fade away.
All that's lasting in this life,
Starts and ends with Jesus Christ,
So I'll look to Christ for what I need today.
Standing in the presence of the Lord,
Standing in the presence of the Lord.
Let us sing and let us shout,
For what life is all about
Can be only found in Jesus Christ the Lord.

The Hour Of Glory
The hour of glory is upon us,
His power revealed in the saints,
The hour when the saints will come to rule and reign,
Removing all fleshly constraints.
In Him we live and move,
And have our very being.
He abides in us and we in Him.
His glory is upon us.
His glory shines out from us,
The glory of the Only Holy One.
Glory, glory, glory,
The all surpassing glory,
The all surpassing glory of the Son.
Glory, glory, glory,
The all surpassing glory,
The all surpassing glory of the Son.

There's Power For Holiness And Life In Grace
Amazing grace that sets me free,
Abounding more and more;
The Spirit ever leadeth me;
The Lord is every door.
There?s power for holiness and life in grace.
The Spirit leads with power to keep pace.
His mighty grace now lives within;
All sin it will displace.
There?s power for holiness and life in grace.
Through grace I have been born again,
By grace the Temple grows
Until the wondrous morning when
His fullness overflows.
Amazing grace that has restored
The five-fold ministry,
Foundation of Thy Body, Lord,
Which grows in unity
Each stone must now be set in place,
According to His will
So holy power, life, and grace
Will all His Temple fill.

I want to do what Jesus would do.
I want to do what Jesus would do.
I fall short of His glory each day.

Calling
I kneeled in the presence of Jesus.
As I sought His sweet, holy will,

We have a full measure of grace,
So we may escape and walk holy,

If I would but judge myself surely,
I need not be judged later on.
And Jesus showed me that this judgment
Is not my self-condemnation.
The judgment of which Jesus told me,
Is simply to yield unto Him.
To realize my strength is nothing,

His love filled my being suddenly.
I gloried there, long, in His presence.
I felt His great love surging through.
His love filled my being completely,
His power from my head to toe.
I found, in the presence of Jesus,
That angers had melted away,
That fears and my bitterness left me.
That night had been turned into day.
And simply receiving His essence,
Had caused such a change in my soul.
What moments before had been lacking,
Was filled with His love and made whole.
Then, later, His presence had left me,
And somehow, I could not remain.
I couldn't remain in His presence.
His glory, I couldn't sustain.
I sought Him to know why this happened,
And why I could not keep His glow.
He showed me the Day that is coming
When I will His full glory know.
And till that great Day has come on us.
We're called to come in, day by day,
By seeking to stand in His presence,
By seeking to walk in the Way.
And so, I then knew that He means it,
And though it takes my breath away,
I'm called to be an overcomer.
But then He had much more to say:
"I have, for you, a higher calling,
That you, a deliverer be.
What I overcome in your being,

I asked Him, "Lord, how can this happen?
To deliver those, the oppressed?"
To set captives free by Your power,
To cause the accursed to be blessed.
How can I work with You to free them
To walk in Your ways from above?"

You need to be filled with my love."
I asked Him, "Lord, how can I yield?

No more of me, and cleansed from all sin.
